I posted this in the Dev thread as well.

To those of you that haven't booted up your tuning laptops in some time you may want to. You don't want a forced windows update to get in the way of flashing the tune. Also make sure that updates did not reactivate your AV/Firewalls.

I second this. Rev hang makes the truck miserable to drive no matter the tune.

Glad i didn't buy the tune, I knew it wasn't getting taken care of by "Saturday" aka last day of sale.

Oh its worth every dollar even without 2.0 and still having rev hang.

Glad you enjoyed spending 700 on that tune. Still glad I didn't, everyone knows the DFCO rev hang is the biggest issue, some just don't want to say it after spending 700.

Ill gladly take my 4.88s for 2k over and over again.

Guys, don't feed this one ^^

I think we're all acutely aware of his opinion.

You can rationalize all you want, but the fact is that even though it isn't fixed *NOW*, it is actively being worked on. If you don't want to buy it *NOW*, that's fine. At this rate your chances are basically zero of getting DFCO and rev hang fixed on a stock tune. Yeah, I paid $700 for a tune that hasn't fixed DFCO "yet", but the truck damn sure drives better than it ever could on the stock tune.

"Yet" has been said for a long time, with people that have paid to be testers. Countless flashes and test drives with free feedback. I would think people would get paid to do so.

Is the throttle flash that was released in here for 04B41 worth running over 1.05 base or FOB?

I would say yes since I am still running it, but it was only dropped for 04B13.

    Sorry!

DFCO and rev hang isn't even the same thing. We are working on DFC0, specifically that engages around 1200 rpm.

Sell your truck, best decision I've made yet. Solved all my problems. I will agree with you though that this damn tune will never be worth $700 and will always be "next week" or "broke my hand" or "in development"

    Updates are also free.
I'll pay people who'd like to test, and start charging for updates. Sounds good?

Honest question: You're profile says otherwise?

And, an honest statement: That is pretty much untrue. Most see an MPG bump as have I. It pays for itself in 5yrs, plus the benefits of excellent driveability and a lot more torque.
