So glad I’m not alone haha. I don’t even have a real desire to go wheel the truck anymore I just want to get better at biking.

 

Do both! Sometimes the longer way to the trailhead is more fun.

 

I don’t have anywhere like that really around here. I’d have to get to windrock or somewhere.

 

Lol when @stronghammer and I wheel our trucks it's more intense than being able to carry a bike in the back

 

I mean, I tone it down when there's precious cargo in the back. You don't see me rockin a loaded tailgate pad on Fins & Things...but there has been the temptation.

 

Haha true I would not want to run the trails I like to run with my bike in the bed.

 

Yeah, but it's going to be a while. This was a local trail on Monday. You could maybe fat bike it, but we're just skinning and glade skiing for now.

 

Only option with all our rain is to swim in ditches for us lol

 

That's where we'll be in 6 weeks. Hopefully things will be dry enough to ride in early May here.

 

nope. not at all. don't ever daydream about riding on some loam or singletrack. never happens. nunca. never have i ever thought of the trail ride i wanna do that includes some fun uphill with a bomber downhill that includes tech and a few jump lines coupled with good flow that gets me into the awesome state of flow in which I can just feel the breeze and hear the tires and the noise of the hub as I....oh wait. how long have you been standing there?!?!

 

maybe one day we can have a big TW MTB meet similar to how people have off-road meets.

 

and the vehicle of choice for pinkbike readers?

 

I wonder how much to rent a massive party bus and run that thing between the SLC airport and Moab for like a week?

 

I'm sure we could fill up some of the shuttles for the WE for an entire day.

 

Volkswagen and Ford surprise me being so big on the poll. I guess with the F-150 but i hardy see any VWs around here

 

One of the groups I usually go with fill 2 vans by ourselves.

 

yeah...VW IS surprising....but then again. this is pinkbike readers so it's a small subset of all bike riders. Ford doesn't surprise me as much.

 

There have been a few smaller meetups for TW MTB that were decent. I'll probably try to put together another Pisgah meetup this year if there is any interest. Maybe mid-September timeframe. Not sure yet.
