Finding somewhere affordable out here can definitely be a pain, but it's doable! You gotta watch it like a hawk and be ready to jump on it. Friends of ours just picked up a decent sized plot of land right on the water down behind Carbondale, they were river guides in an earlier life so it's perfect for them. It's a paradise for the right person. Always love to have more people out here who appreciate it, everyone else can move to the front range or better yet the east coast. :D

Not an important question and definitely not worth starting a thread over but I want to upgrade the battery terminal connectors before I install the ditch lights and my ARB... welcome any part #'s people are using that are good connectors with room to grow (no fuse block or junction yet, gonna run everything off the terminals).

Hahah I have no social skills to speak of, I didn't even look to see if you were on the east coast before I said that. Nothing meant by it, just trying to keep our cost of living here down and I picked a random location!!

Nah, you picked right. Send more people to the east coast please! There's too many people in CO already. (Yes I realize I'm also part of the problem :D)

Check out the SDHQ battery terminals.
Those may be of interest to you. I have a set and for the electrical that I intend on doing it will keep me from tapping into my OEM wiring.
    Google "SDHQ."

TRD emblems, tinted windows, OEM running boards, AVS vent shades, RMAS upgrade, LED lights in front and rear, interior LED lighting upgrade, LED lighting in bed, touch control dash mount for LED lighting, auxillary 12v and USB jacks in bed, replace all speakers with Infinity, custom mod with Bose tweeters, TRD Pro illumination mod...
The other day I had to take my 2017 TRD OR in for a battery check under warranty side I assume because it only has 51000 klms on it. Reason is the battery has gone dead a few times when the temp drops here in Ontario. Sure enough the test proved the battery was faulty and the dealer replaced it. Has anyone else had a failed battery in less than 3 years? Also, dealer suggested getting brake lines flushed. Is this necessary or just a money grab?

Today was a good day. A little warmer so I managed to get the new NFab Predator steps installed, took all of half an hour basically. Then the low profile Matte black AVS window vent/shades went in. Both jobs were super easy, hopefully, the tape on the vent shades holds them in the channel, because I really like the low profile look.

    Welcome to TW.
Those in channel vent visors will hold. Just be sure to keep the windows closed for the recommended amount of time, longer if the temperatures are cold. 2 years on mine and they're rock solid and not going anywhere.

How about we send them to Canada? Seems like there's plenty of room up there.

And get on out here to CO! We'd love to have you

I always thought this was a money grab; then I had some real issues in my 2nd Gen a year or so ago. Now I had about 120K miles on her and don't know if it had ever been done before as I bought the truck with 60K miles on the odometer.

Somehow I believe I got moisture in the lines (which is the justification for periodic brake fluid flushing) and when things got really hot (like really bad stop and go traffic one night) the water would expand and nearly lock my brakes on. I was pulling a small(ish) trailer and as I would start to slow down; the brakes would grab just before I would have normally stopped and stop me dead. And it didn't really want to go again. Hydraulic fluid is not supposed to expand or contract due to changes in temperature. I made it home, but decided to flush the brakes and the problem never recurred.

I ended up buying a pressure flush kit and now I flush my brakes every 2 years on all my vehicles (5 of them). I bought the kit from a company that isn't around anymore or I'd post a link. It doesn't take much effort with the pressure kit, especially since I picked up a QuickJack. Now I can do all 4 corners at the same time. I'd at least do it when you change brake pads. I personally wouldn't pay a dealership to do it. I'm never happy when I pay someone to do brake work, they always find some way to piss me off - no matter the car/truck/shop.

I'll look for the YouTube video that convinced me to buy the kit and flush my own brakes and post if if I find it.
