so I've had this noise coming out of my 2016 Toyota Tacoma SR5 for a couple months now it's annoying the hell out of me took it to Toyota they gave me some spill about there was a recall but I missed it based on the fact that I had bought the truck from a used dealership so we got 60,000 miles on it give or take they said it will cost me a hundred bucks to replace it with no guarantee that the noise will go away any suggestions or ideas on how to deal with this

    Yeah, replace it.

High pressure fuel pumps are built like garbage so the chance is incredibly high that you will have to do it again or multiple times at some point in your ownership of the vehicle if you intend to own it for the long haul.

    Welcome aboard..

Tread lightly in the 3rd gen section. It's a real shitshow in there.

The 3rd gen section is generally filled with Bernie lovers, hipsters, and homosexuals. Anything said in there is generally taken out of context and to serious, therefore hurting feelings of others. So just tread lightly, treat everyone like they are a girl in kindergarten.

Is a high pressure fuel pump easy to replace or should I leave it to the professionals?
