    Hello All!

Lifelong Marylander here, picked up a Tacoma mainly to haul my dirtbike but I am getting into small mods and would love to take it out at a group meet and do a little off-roading even if it means a good few hour drive. What are some places I can begin to put this thing to the test?

Hey @68dave have you noticed that oil availability is changing? No one around me is carrying 5w30 conventional except napa. I’m about to order a case of it. This is getting frustrating. The only other option is to switch it to 10w40 which seems to be still prevelent...

    o_O really?

I heard on the local radio news this morning oil demand is low due to coronavirus. People are scared to travel which means less oil consumption. Maybe they suspended some motor oil production?

Yep. Everything is either synthetic blend or full synthetic. I run synthetic blend in all my yotas. 10w40 conventional in my chevelle.

Welcome! Not sure if Green Ridge still has ORV trails but we used to ride ATV's up there and it used to be open for ORV's as well. Been a real long time though.

What motor is in the Chevelle? I have a 383 Stroker in a Camaro that needs an oil change, but (long story) I am not sure what to run. I was told 10w-40 conventional is a safe bet.

They closed the atv/dirtbike loop but you can take licensed vehicles there and explore the dirt roads.

My car still has the stock small block. 10w40 convential is good for it. I add a zinc additive to my oil.

Is that the license that you used to get over at the headquarters off of Orleans Rd? Think it was a sticker that we used to have to put on one of the fenders. Been at least 8 years ago...

Licensed & registered vehicles as in a truck. The 18mile atv/dirtbike loop is closed.

You don’t need anything to drive in GRSF other then a drivers license and a registered vehicle..Trails have been closed for several years so you don’t need a Orv sticker .You will need said sticker if you go to the trails farther out in Western Md .

The oil filter from hell. Decided today was pretty nice so would go ahead and do a spring oil change. Two hours later and finally got the filter off!:annoyed:
