What Have You Done To Your 2nd Gen Tacoma Today?

All of this nipple talk is very distracting.
In all seriousness though, I will be installing a short nipple valve on my next oil change.

 

Build me one that fits with my sleeper set up and I'd bite

 

Fixed the back up switch, lg1 fuse and threw in some "super bright" reverse lights that I got for christmas. Broke the tail light in the process but oh well.

 

I've been using one for awhile and love it

 

There is a new model that actually drains in less then 30 min now?!

 

I'll have to time it before I can attest to that bold claim.

I run Fumotos on everything I can (except my adventure bike, because the bash plate got in the way) - I usually run short nipple, but I also don't need to connect hoses to most things. Yes, they're slower than an unobstructed bolt, but they're also not messy.

4. open bottle remove contents
5. proceed to fit bag and sew .......if ya can still see it


Actually the only part from the bag is the label portion, the new bags are cheap...the rest the material I got from a local shop....bags can be bought from Amazon..

 

Changed out the stock charger for this USB fast charger. Cut the stock wires and wired into them. Had to dremel out the hole so it could fit.

I got long nipple. It is just above my skid plate, easier to attach a hose to.

 

I should do this. I like having my phone up on the dash, but with wireless apple car play I don't really need it... Would be nice to toss it down there and have it charging the whole time..

 

What sort of grease did you use? Mine squeak pretty bad, drives me nuts..

 

How do you get that panel out? I need to do the same.

So far so good but I’m sure they will squeak again soon. I used to pressure wash them/fluid film them after and it worked for a few weeks. As soon as the anti squeak pads dry out they are screwed lol

 

Right on, thanks for the reply. Let us know how it works out in the long run. Seems like this is a common enough issue that there would be a set way to resolve it by now.. lol

 

I replaced the front brake pads today...
The Toyota engineer who designed this rocks...

My tools were:
Two flat head screwdrivers (for prying the old pads open)
Synthetic brake grease
21mm socket (lug nuts)
Breaker bar (wheel off)
Torque wrench (wheel on)

I've done brakes, this is just too easy...BTW 46k on OEM pads, 70% town, 30% highway

 

I’ve heard it all. I bought the dorman replacements and they didn’t fit.. I’ve see some people put spare tire tube in between too. The key is to keep them clean it seems. Even when I just pressure washed them, the sound was greatly reduced.
