Looking to order a C4 Swingout soon. Looking to pair it with a C4 Hybrid front or a Relentless Stealth. I would like to plan for the future with the RCLT so what are the chances either bumper would fit 37s or even 40s without modification? In the event they can't, it would be easier to modify the hybrid, not so much the Stealth.

I know a buddy and I never heard back yet either. My guess is they are still holding on to the applications.

The skinny from an employee at Marlin is, they now plan to email those interested once the kit is released. No applicants have been "selected" and may never be. Sounds like not so much of a pre-production run thing anymore but we'll see.

Seems Marlin is too small of an operation to keep up with demand on any of their products. How long have people been waiting for a tube bumper?

    Forever.

they take forever, which I understand. But my issue is them updating customers. I’ve wanted that bumper for over a year and that thread seems ghosted.

You'd have to be nuts to buy this kit given the price tag, the demonstrated delays, and apparent inability to serve customers in any sort timely fashion.

Just imagine having this kit on your truck, having an issue, needing parts to get it drive-able again, and having to deal with this non-sense.

They’re a small operation doing their best! All of the folks at Marlin are very hard working.

Won't debate that - but "they're good people doing their best" is not much consolation when you're truck is down and you encounter waits/delays/etc. like this kit's release has been plagued with.

Went through the same thing with All Pro with all the moves and transfers of ownership that company has had.

Our hybid front has the top hoop shortened about 2" and cut at an anle at the fender should you want to trim them open to clear larger tires.

You have a very valid point. The one uptick is you should be able to get different uniballs and heims when you need them unless they use some proprietary size or something. But issue with the rack, spindle, arm, etc and yep probably be up a creek with no paddle. Hopefully when these kits hit the market they actually have some parts sitting aside for the inevitable.

You can get spares for most of the reasonable parts which I would plan to buy up front, and the rest isn't rocket science if something goes wrong. RCV's have a great lifetime warranty. The only thing I would be leery of is the steering rack being special which I'm gonna ask about. Even then, its gonna be rebuildable.

His point was that it may be a while to get parts to fix if something were to go wrong so no rack for a while.

I didn’t even think about delays if something broke. It’s a shame because there’s obviously a demand for their products, and they make great products too. The cam gusset kit fit like a glove. Although It’s hard to judge when we don’t work there and don’t fully know what’s going on. I will agree that they do need to make some sort of change..

Finally decided on the route I'm gonna take as we wait for this to be released. Currently deployed so I can start piecing this out until I get home. Gonna get my side business up and running as soon as I get back as well. Anyone want some hats? Haha.

Swap my 16" Methods for 17" Rhinos (Gotta upgrade to clear)
Looking at 35x12.5/17r Wildpeaks (Currently on 285/75/16r

    1) Cab Mount Relocation
    2) C4 Hybrid Front

    • 30" S8 - White
    • Squadron Sport Pair - Amber
    • Squadron Pro Pair - IR ;)
    • Warn Zeon 10-S
    3) C4 HC w/ Swingout
    • S2 Sport Pair
    4) Rear End
    • I don't know yet. 3 Link sounds orgasmic. But I want to Truck Vault the bed and possibly get a GFC or Vegabond. That's way down the road. It's only money -_-
    5) 5.29 Gears

Puts me right around 11,500 minus any labor once I sell the current wheel setup. Probably need someone to help with the rear.

@In4aride - Random tag, but I greatly appreciate your setup and therefor would love to get some feedback. My goal is to have a sweet rig that can double as a usable advertising platform for my side hustle. Hence the want for a truck vault and GFC to haul products in. Setup at shows, venues, training events. I have some planned products for the truck market as well so setting up at an overland venue is something I'll probably do.
