Has there been any correlation to the fuel pump issues and people’s perceived issues with the tune or any actual functionality issues? For example, if the pump isn’t dying at high speed, is it really a problem?

We don't know, but it's quite possible. Some trucks, customers of ours, their pumps have actually died.

FIFY! Sad face added. It takes a minute, I got the tune last month and the pc reg took 2 weeks for the email back with the reg key file. Worth the wait and I've only tried the 1.5 base so far.

If we are on the recall list should we hold off on flashing to 2.0 until the truck is fixed?

Having the pump replaced shouldn't effect the tunes right? Unless Toyota changes something in the ECU right?

My 2018 will cut out up top at WOT on 1.05_93. Wondered if my pump was bad but always thought it was only 2019's that did it. Just checked, and mine is now on the recall list....

Or would we need to flash it back to stock before we take it in to dealer for recall?

No one knows yet what the recall entails. Rumor is a new fuel pump but there’s also been ramblings of a ecu update.

I’m not in the list either but reading further I’m no longer bone stock not even tires. Everything is stock except tires. 4.88 gears on the way in a week or two but for now I’m 100% stock minus lift tires and bumper.
