Had a Board of Trustees meeting yesterday - always a lot of work getting ready. Just one more to go!!

Last night I was humbled to be honored as the Northeast PA Council of Boy Scouts of America's 2020 Distinguished Citizen. Not sure I deserve it...and where the heck m I going to keep this statue???!!!




More importantly, I took the truck to work yesterday and stopped by the Lackawanna State Park on my way home. Our property touches the State Park - always love the peacefulness and beauty of it. And, Spring is coming!!!

Corona virus, real close to home, radio said it is in the small town (pop 5,000) I live outside of. Declined a friends house warming party where he lives, four hour drive away, over close to where those health workers were exposed but are no longer self quarantined. Officials know little about this.

We as seniors need to be a little more cautious Duane. They say it hits older folks hard and most of the deaths have been seniors over 60. Ah the Golden Years.

 

The hardest hit will be people with compromised health - especially people with respiratory-related issues since the virus hits the respiratory system.

 

Seems cruel that it hit a nursing home in the US almost first thing. The toll on lives there is tragic.

Wash your hands! And don't touch your face! I fail miserably on that last one...
