Got a question for the group.
I have an SR5 and am wondering where is everyone wiring their "raptor lights"? I bought the AVS Deflector with lights, and I want them tied into my DRLs. So I am able to actually turn them off if I want. I'm super leery about just splicing into the wiring under the hood AND I'm not seeing a specific fuse anywhere. TIA

Zip tie and an adhesive backed zip tie mount would take care of that. I'll give their parts guy a call when I'm ready.

This is for your SB... I think... PK3B635JS0. ultimately you will end up with extra cable on the LO which may be a pain to hide.

Interesting question. I need the answer as well. My grille with "Raptor" lights will be delivered tomorrow.

I believe that you are correct. Oh well, it's ordered and on it's way now. I'll let you know if the extra wire caused any problems with installation.
Was a good price anyway from all the price checking I was able to come up with.

Follow the instructions and all is good. The only advice I could offer is to be careful with the white cable clamps that are under the passenger side door trim when you undo them... with the extra wire you'll want to hide it near the spare and bumper, plenty of space up there.

Quoted from @ Tullie D's Raptor Lights mod:

"All connections are soldered and shrink tubed. I tested them out with an add-a-fuse on the EFI 3 fuse. They turn on whenever the ignition switch is on."

I've been in the automobile business for over 50 years (just dated myself) and my how things have changed.
I remember back in the day when you saw a car or truck with no chrome on it, it designated that it was the cheapest model in the lineup.
If ya had the model with all the chrome, you had the "best". Just thinkin.

You don't have a grill? You're missing out. Bumps you right to the front of the line at Golden Corral.

If you read a little further in my Raptor style grill lights mod, you'll see that I changed to the INJ fuse.

Super glad it's not like that anymore. GMC seems to still think it is, that Sierra with all the shiny sh!t on the front is the truck version of having a "grill".

Flipped the second to bottom leaf in the Dakar HD leaf pack and added a 1/2" spacer to the front coilovers. Sitting at 23 1/2" in the front and 24" in the rear. I'll be ordering the stage 2 SSO bumper sides and a high clearance rear swing out bumper when the tax $ comes in. Ill see if I need to tweak it more after that. Might try to fit some 285/75/17's under it too. Cmc chop stuff, brake lines and rear shock extensions are in hand if I decide to go that route. Probably gonna do 4.88 gears too regardless. She's a heavy beast!
