About the only time we take them off is if they are there temp when capping off a connection to copper or done screwed something up.

Most of the time we just use the band clamps when joining PEX.

 

Best way to protect against corona is drink better beer.

My wife had and older mobile home that I need to just suck it up and redo all of the plumbing on. I have just been patching leaks here and there. I wasn't all that handy till we got together.
Edit : I was hoping to do a manifold, but right now that is out of reach and skill level.

 

Honestly if you’re able to patch you can build the manifold.

My friend that I flip houses with is a master plumber, my gramps was a master plumber so I learned a lot from both of them. I like PEX because I don’t have to worry about pinhole leaks when soldering copper, though I was taught a cool trick for that also.
