max tire size w/ bilstein 5100's?

    hey this is my first post and im pretty curious i just ordered the bilstein 5100's from downsouth and was wondering what is the max tire size i can get at the max setting which is 2.75" i think?

    haha i was about to add this i completely forgot to mention it, i currently have the stock dunlops 265 65 17

    i was looking at some nitto terra grapplers 285 70 17 would these be too big??

    completely stock
    then a 265/70-17 is the largest on stock wheels. if you add backspacers or a new lower backspace then a 285/65-17 0r 33x11.5

    I agree - I just installed the billstein's at 2.5 (gave me 3" front lift) and installed a 2" AAL (Tuff Country) with billsteins in the back. I just installed some 265/70/17 Duratrac's and they're AMAZING. I'm really glad I didn't try anything bigger (was thinking about 285/70/17) they're PERFECT (very aggressive tire btw).

    You can run 285's with triming and a cabmounts chop

    BTW save up some cash and get camburg spindles. And set the billies at 0 setting.

    i looked them up and saw i'd get about a 4" lift? what exactly are spindles?? haha
