I get over 400 a tank in the Summer with all around everyday driving, knocking down around 21 - 22 MPG.

It’s hard to get much more than 500 miles per tank. I generally get 440-480 before the light comes on; I do 60/40 city/hwy as a commute, and it’s mostly flat. We go up to 8’000’ when we go to places like Big Bear or the High Sierra trailheads too. Miles per tank doesn’t mean much to me since I don’t always fuel up an empty tank on my sweet 2wd V6 with the TRD unobtanium air dam.

Thats impressive man! My question is: do you live in a rural area? I mean, city driving with no traffic and city driving in traffic are 2 different things.

I dont see myself coming even close to 400 miles with my mixed driving. I live in a metropolitan area, so quite a bit of traffic sometimes and i pay attention to how i drive. I always try to coast as much as i can and take advantage of DFCO. I am on e rated AT tires though.

I also never wait till the yellow light comes on, i fill up when its like an 1/8" lower than the lowest quarter mark.

Thats amazing fuel economy. I removed my air dam, couldnt stand the looks of it.

    I guess having a 2wd makes a huuge difference.

I do live Rural, but part of a tank will also include some city and highway too.
Edit. Snapped this last summer when getting ready to fill up.

I edited my previous post to add a pic from last Summer, I usually don't like to wait till the light comes on either. I also have stock sized Falkens on my truck and I also skip gears frequently, rarely do I ever go 1st thru 6th.

Kings, 275/70/17, a few custom items, lots of Meso mods.
That would be nice. Never got much over 19. Must be the E rated tires? Hopefully when I get the new tune it will go up a little? I have no idea on miles per tank. Always fill up at 1/2 since I live in the mountains.

I can get 23-24 MPGs out of my 2.7/5MT if I drive like a grandma with a broken right ankle. I settle for 22MPGs and drive it like I want.

Here's one of my longest lasting tanks. Fill up is always stop at the first click--no top off.

Pretty disappointed in my 19 Pro mpg. Granted, I didn't buy it for mileage, but when a sticker shows 18 city, 22 highway, and 20 combined, I'd like to see a little better than the 13.8 it's currently giving me. It's all stock and all city driving. No, I don't drive it hard. The one highway trip I took it showed 17.8. My next tank I'll monitor the actual mileage and see if the calculator is off.

I get about 320 per tank

I have about a 40 mile commute so I drive like a granny. If anyone sees a lifted Tacoma on the 91 and 215 in the slow lane going 55, it’s your boy.
