If I'm not mistaken it looks like he's selling the whole engine with the supercharger included. Someone else today was talking about looking at something like that, wonder if it's the same ad

    Just 3 tons of fun!!!

Oh... well shit... I thought it was saying an SC for a 3.4... not an SC on a 3.4.

That could change things. Still a little higher than what you'd find it here. 3.4 from a private seller with unknown history goes for about 500 here.

And that's if you don't mind, or want, or need the 3.4.

Most of those "too good to be true" trucks appear in multiple CL listings and facebook market place ads.

If someone would sell me a double cab for a proper rotted price I would be fine.

last guy I talked to literally said 7 was the least he’ll take. Because the “frames not that bad”. The bed was touching the cab.

Funny how drastically perspective changes based on where you live. Out here people see a little spot of surface rust in an ad and it's enough to scare them away lol

i have no fears of buying a truck with frame rust as long as its not severe (unless i have a frame ofcourse.) body rust scares me more.. repairing that is costly to do right.

Not for a long time, at least not caster. I maxed them for caster, think it was around 2, and I adjusted them slightly to get camber even, which was about .8-1 degree negative.

It's kinda irrelevant to me as what I was trying to do was get the best drive and most tire clearance, and it should be easy to compare to other alignments based on looking at the cams.

Plus, my shits all bent, so who knows how it will compare. Truck drove good. :notsure:

If you see one for $1500-1700 please post a link if you don’t mind. I never see them for under $2000. Hell, some dude just hawked one with a dynamic tensioner, 7th injector kit and thermostat for $3500 on here.

I've been kicking the idea of an SC for mine... but I've been too busy doing everything else to it this year.

I think I'm around 3.5 - 4 with mine maxed and the SPC in the usual setting. I don't have much lift in the front anymore though .

It's pretty easy to dial in camber with the SPC. You should be able to get it less than a degree.

Next alignment I'm gonna try and do it myself that way and see how it comes out.

I'm sure my shits a little tweaked, but as long as it's not stanced out and drives all right, I'll be happy.
