    Hey man, I know Margen already commented on this BUT... I love it! It's great to see the first person upload pictures of the product done! I am amazed someone has already fabricated it considering we just sent these out last Wednesday-Friday!

    A lot of people go this route even with our SSO products!

    For those that will be doing this:
    the difficulty I had was not having a welding table. My work space was my driveway. Lining up the brackets to be welded without a table require me to get a little creative. I used two 2x4s. The straightest ones I had. I sandwiched the bumper bracket tabs between the two 2x4s and screwed the 2x4s together. This held the brackets in place and hopefully straight.. i did check with a straightedge aswell.

    I followed the SSO Armageddon video. And everything kinda only fits together one way. It seems that as long as the tabs are straight with each other, the distance between is set by the winch plate. I don’t expect to have any issues. I’ll keep you guys posted.

    Well Chit... wasn’t paying attention I guess. Didn’t notice the rivets and believed that it was square, so I welded away. I stepped back and thought that don’t look right haha. Will grind my welds off tomorrow I suppose and make sure it’s “square”. Ya Live and ya learn I suppose. Ps: gotta love flux core.

    Fwiw, those same mounts that bolt to the underside of the frame, on my "OEM" unit, aren't perfectly square either. Test fit it, see how it looks
