Damn, good call. Ultimate would align with the festival, the Tattoo, Duxford, and something like the Great Dorset Steam Fair, which is close to Bovington. And then there's 5000 other things, in GB and Ireland and Scotland. Like castles, cathedrals, pubs, and beer and scotch and shit.

I say a junket with Young Ben for his 16th BD...led by his hero father.

Cereal ... how epic would that be ... now if I can figure how to live that long, it's in the bag.

Dude I'm looking at next year. I remember my trip in '71 when I was nearly 6. He'll be 6 next August. My wife's choir group does annual trips abroad. And we just learned that next year is....Ireland and Scotland.

    Jesus titty fucking christ.

My best ever was in Windemere in the Lake District. I was 15, and had just finished Devil Pup Marine Corps camp. Yes, I was burning to kill a commie for mommy. But I got better. Anyhoo. Bought a batch in newsprint at the top of the hill. I believe it was this place, if it is still the same. Malt vinegar...down the hill we walked to the shore. When I got to the bottom, I said damn, I want more, and I ran all the way to the top of the hill again and got another.

I remember going to another place in Glasgow. I remember almost slipping on the grease on the floor. And they also had Indian slop bins or some other shit. It did not hold a candle to Windemere.

    Hell

1st two years (94-96) we rented a house in Red Lodge just south of base. Every Thursday, IIRC maybe Friday, the truck would come round. And always one at weekend boot sales. Those are some delicious memories.

Russian Puppet Land not good enough for you?

Granted, I'll take decomposing grass seeds over potato juice every time.
