I hear zip-ties are a cheaper alternative.

 

There was a thread once where a guy "permanently" mounted his LED lightbar with zip-ties … quite entertaining … the guy got TW derped heavily.

The older I get the more I believe "buy once cry once" is sound policy. A lot of money gets wasted trying to be cheap, then having to buy more to make it right, like I should have done from the git go.

Got my odyssey 34R battery in this week. Don’t ask why but they were hard to find. Rago tray should be in by this weekend. The first step to organized wiring under the hood. Next is compressor tray, compressor, switch pro. Then accessorize.

I always try to do that with all my outdoor power equipment. Get better shit that may last many years into the future versus buy every couple years.
Tryin to to convince my wife that’s the way to go for a grill but she doesn’t want to spend Weber money and we end up dropping a couple hundred every 2-3 years.

I use to buy cheap Craftsman weed whackers every year or two. I bought an Echo Pro one about 5yrs ago and run ethanol free gas in it. It's still going strong as ever. I've now saved money on that buy.

Agreed, but try as I might I can not help myself when it comes to Harbor Freight sales... It's the main reason I hate myself so much.

 

I like HF for stuff that I won't use a lot of. Bought my angle grinder and stuff like that there. They're cobalt bits are great too. I have also heard good things about their torque wrenches.
