Any recommendations on a good front camera?

I prefer a stand alone setup. There are ready made setups available, or you can put a setup together from scratch.

    Your options are limitless.

See the link in my signature for an example.

I agree with you, OP. Being used to a two door Jeep and the visibility I have on trails, even with the doors on, the Tacoma freaked me out the first time we ran some really narrow shelf roads in CO. It gives you the impression that the truck is wider than the trail. Just takes some getting used to, though I might consider the front camera at some point.

It was a fine joke. He’s just pretending he is out tending his 600 head of cattle and way too busy doing non “Hollywood types” things. As if he’s never watched TV before. Yet here he is chopping it up with a bunch of Toyota nerds.

Maybe if he'd used someone like Jimmy Durante I would've caught the joke.

That's a huge road in your picture. Where's the narrow one you were talking about?

Front camera has helped me a lot off roading. Don’t have to get out of the truck and spot my lines as much. Also helps with parking in tight parking garages.

Have you run Red Cone? Pics certainly don't do it justice; I posted it as a good illustration of just how bulbous the hood looks.

Have not and after reading this I probably won't:

If you slip off of the trail going down the Mountain you will most likely die -- the trail is about the width of two or three cars and about 1,000 feet down to the next flat spot.

    However, this:

If you slip off of the trail going down the Mountain you will most likely die -- the trail is about the width of two or three cars and about 1,000 feet down to the next flat spot.

Sooooper wide. I rest my case.

You missed the part where I said the pic is simply an illustration of how wide the hood looks relative to the trail, from the driver's seat? It's even worse on the narrow trails.

Reach for the sky? Is that because someone's been shooting at your windshield? And, you have no gas to escape?
