What are you all doing for transmission rubber mounts? Mine is shot and I am not able to find one - aftermarket or OEM.

Seems like they are all for the 3.4.

The problem is toyota doesn't call it a transmission mount, they call it a rear insulator for the engine.

Of course your truck configuration doesn't exist past 97 (3RZ reg cab 4x4) and the part number for your "rear insulator" 12371-35080 is discontinued

You could try the one for a 98-00 ext cab 3RZ 4x4

Huh really? That combo was discontinued in 1997?

Good thought, but that part looks way different on the Conicelli website.

Edit: Looks like every year and model uses the same image....

I tried ordering this one from Conicelli a while back and it was not available.

I found another number that I think may work. I will post up if available!

@Uphillshunter knows, but I think the transmission mount is discontinued. He managed to find a new old stock one.

I ordered one listed for a '96 4 cylinder 4runner. I found the part number HERE. Sure looks like the right one!

It was 12371-75030. $102 after tax and shipping from Conicelli. Should know by tomorrow if still available.

That should be the one for manual. The one I used was for auto. Just responded to Tyler's comment earlier, didn't realize you were looking for manual. The one you found should be good to go.

That is for my 1995 3RZ W59 4x4. Just replaced mine last year. Looks like diff part number than what you ordered. Wonder why?

    To finalize this thread....

My truck is a 96 4x4 4 cylinder manual standard cab.

Here is what I ordered and it worked great:

The confusion is probably related to the change of the retainer. On the old one it looks like some sort of bracket, the new one is a bolt and washer.

    Glad things worked out.

If a part you order from Conicelli is not in the local warehouse you get the back order email

The message you don`t want is the discontinued message
