The alignment will complete your install and I think it will help. I know it sucks to put that work into your truck and it ends up rubbing like crazy.

Were you running the 285/70/17s before the upper control arms or did you put the tires on at the same time?

If it doesn’t, it’s no big deal to cut the cab mount.

matt is running close to the same wheel setup on his 3rd gen and didn’t need to cut.

With the new UCAs they should be able to adjust the caster to fix that problem. But hey. Once it rubs long enough it won’t rub no more:thumbsup:

It's supposed to stop raining today but who knows.

So far this year in East Alabama, NOT counting this weeks douching, we've received almost 18" of rain. The 30 year average for East Alabama area is 8.29"

It feels like we got a lot more than this but the NWS rainfall plot for Lee County says we received 1.77" in the last couple of days not counting overnight last night or this morning. So I'd say we're at 20" or more by now.

This is the wettest beginning of the year I ever remember and I just want spring to get here without the showers.

I put wheels tires on soon as the suspension was upgraded. Then had to do some trimming and remold the fender liner after hammering down pinch weld. Didn’t rub anything hardly except a very tiny amount when turned about 12 degrees maybe? Then it would only slightly rub plastic. Never cab mount. Then put UCAs on last night and she’s rubbing extremely hard on everything now. Going to get it aligned and see what is left to do now.

    Like, so many.
I read somewhere that the last time it rained this much in Alabama was 1944. My back yard is a swamp.

My yard is a swamp as well. I just read the NWS outlook for March thru May and the pattern looks to continue thru May with above normal precipitation chances. Not the news any of us wanted to hear. The flood forecast for Spring is well above normal as you can imagine.

Last night the shower stopped draining normally so I know our septic tank is full of rainwater. It drained, but very slowly. So far no bubbles coming thru the toilet so it's still draining into the field lines but the system is under serious stress at the moment.

I’m happy we’re still getting rain. Somewhere there’s some great places to kick up some mud this weekend :)

My creek in the back yard that stays dry 90% of the year, is now a river...

Those UCA are not adjustable and they should have moved the tire forward with the extra built in caster. Its odd that the only thing you changed was the UCAs and they rub on the rear of the tire now, you didn't happen to maybe put the UCAs on the wrong side?

x3. Was possibly considering they were put on the wrong sides as well. Got any pics @newdles?
