New member here with a newbie question. Not an educated "car guy" so here goes: I have a 2015 Tacoma and want to get new wheels for my truck so I have one set for snow, one for other seasons. Craigslist has many for sale. Will the 2019 Toyota OEM 16" wheel with Good Year Wrangler AT Adventure 265/70R/16 be the right fit for my truck? Thanks!

yup no problem. Pretty much any 6 lug Taco / 4runner toyota rim is interchangeable on all other 6lug vehicles (few exceptions on the 4 runners with bigger brakes)

Actually saw a late model 2002-2004 1st gen, TRD OR 4x4 Access cab v6 auto, in white with 3rd gen TRD OR rims, proper lift and 265/75s....mmmmm ... mah gawd did it look sexy

Thanks all! Next newbie question: Do I need to have the wheels aligned after I install?

Only if you already need an alignment... changing wheels won't affect alignment.

Also, in case you didn't know, the 3rd gen TPMS sensors won't work on a 2nd gen. If you want to have the TPMS light work on your truck with both sets of wheels, there are a few hoops you need to jump through.

I have the same rims on my 2015- just have the tire shop put your "old" TPMS sensors in your new rims

If your using two sets of wheels summer/winter U may have to do the pipe bomb trick.

    Pipe bomb . . . PVC schedule 40 type.
Basically, get some PVC pipe, seal the 4 sensors in it and mount a schrader valve to pressurize it to 15 lbs or so before resetting the TPMS ECU to the new pressure. Slip the pipe under your driver's seat for safe keeping.

The sensor in your spare will still work to tell you it's time to air it up!
This comes from TW member buddywh1

I am yet to do this but looking into having one end so I can open it with out destroying sealed ends.

No they will not work, they're too short. You need the 3rd gen lug nuts as well. I have 17 OR wheels on my 13.

The OEM lug nuts on my '15 work fine with '18 OEM rims... they are not too short.

I have 3rd Gen rims and I will trade for other rims. Just post or PM Pics. When I find the ones I like we can trade! (I like the black rims with red TRD Print)
