Ha...when we were in Italy we had running gag about how small all the vehicles were...We would have pointed at that Honda and said "It's the biggest flat bed truck in Italy"

I’m 6’2 240... it’s pretty small for me but it works.
Throwing some larger tires on it and a mild lift!

Oh man. I want a mini truck something bad. My wife has allowed me two engines. I want a boat but realistically that’s a stretch. But those kei trucks...

Holy cow, that looks incredible! Ultimate tin boat!

I used to work for a construction company that did a lot of international work, every so often we had people from Europe come over and they were shocked at the "lorrys" we have here! Took them up north to our factory and they saw logging trucks and were just flabbergated. They don't see stuff like that over there.

It's mostly when you come around a bend and there's one coming at you at 50mph that gets you.

Maybe it's because I've grown up with logging trucks, but the lorries in the UK were more alarming. Because you'd meet them unexpectedly on corners on EVERY road, and they were almost always in your lane.

Yeah and the roads in the UK are a lot smaller so there is that added fun factor as well.

Yup. With no shoulder, and you're in a toy car.

They're starting to get a lot bigger cars but with the same roads, so that's even happening with just the average joe now.

We were in a toy car when we were over there this fall

Yes, more of the larger models are on the roads over there, but the majority of what we saw (and what we had) were small 5 door hatches.

    And Lorries

Edit- It actually was pretty funny navigating over there; while we were there we had my GPS for turn-by-turn and a gazetteer for actual route plotting. The gazetteer had all of the roads ranked by danger levels, green for safe, yellow for slightly hazardous, red for extremely dangerous, etc. ALL of the roads in Scotland were red, not due to the traffic level but because they're all very narrow, very fast, and full of blind corners.
