Duct tape and bailing wire to the rescue.

I'm sure you can make it work and fit ok. Honestly though what's $350 in the grand scheme of what the bike cost. :spending:

I can get a new seat (almost) for that cost. I could get a crash bar. I could get new throttle grips, pegs, and brake and shifter lever. Let’s see I could also get 2 pairs of riding pants... I could go on.

I’ll figure something out somehow. No way I’m paying nearly 3x the cost of this one lol.

Well I'm sure as the bug set's in you will get ALL of those things on top of whatever else catches your eyes.

I'm sure it can't be that far off, could always see if the dealer you got the bike from would cut you come sort of deal on an aftermarket one also.

I would not expect them to fit as the HU opening is very different. That's not even including the research you'd need on the wiring. Best bet for factory is to stay 15 and below, and I believe there are some threads on that.

My personal opinion though is to just upgrade to an aftermarket, not much more expensive and more feature rich, but if your intent is a stock look, that falls over

At least he asks! Mine just sneak into the kitchen and steal whatever meat you have left on the counter for more than a few seconds when your backs turned.:annoyed: The other night it was the "little" one and a boneless chicken breast.

Ya if you buy aftermarket (I like Pioneer) from some place like crutchfield you can usually get a wiring harness adapter for that radio and then it's pretty much plug and play.

What seat are you going with?

I would take another spin and it and do it with an open mind. Sometimes I know I just have to go back to something at a later time and it usually goes much better.

Not sure yet. Most likely a saddleman like everyone else. But I’m gonna go to another local dealer and Test them out. Apparently some dealers have “loaner” seats you can put on and test ride.

ya. I’m hoping removing the headlight is going to help the install but we shall see!

Well hopefully it goes well and you can not drink them because you're out for a nice ride.

One can only hope. Sadly it’ll be dark by the time I (hopefully) finish. But I’ll still take her out to test the new fairing. If not I’ll be going for a nice long ride tomorrow. Actually I’m going for a ride tomorrow regardless

DMV in the morning. Then riding after for sure. I need a seat and a helmet for my girlfriend so she can go places too haha. I want to hit this pizza/brewery spot but then she’d have to drive down by herself and then sit in traffic coming home. Definitely gonna get out tomorrow though. Hopefully weather stays decent

Yeah, it seems like the aftermarket ones are typically better anyway! Thanks!
