I changed my oil at 5K and let Sunny King do it up until 25K, which is when the Toyota Care package runs out. I changed it again before this last GA Traverse trip.

    When we gonna ride Caleb?

Sometimes talking to the alignment tech helps set your mind at ease. Especially after you tell him what you are looking for and he understands what you are asking!

You need 4° of positive castor. They got you around 2 which is factory spec. Your gunna rub like crazy. Did you tell them to put you at 4? They wont unless you tell them to.

Ok so went to the next guy I was referred to and he’s referring me to 4wheel parts in Pelham because he said he doesn’t think he is the right guy for the job as they just do standard alignments. At the oral surgeon now so will swing by 4wp next. This getting annoying.

If your going to Pelham just go to hoover Toyota. They do great job on their Alignments. I got quoted at 4wp for an alignment one time and they charged an arm and a leg

If I were to fix this by cutting then the cab mount would need a complete relocate and I’d have to get a torch to heat the cab metal and bend it back about 2”. Seriously I have exactly 1-1/4” of gap now as it sits. Before the lowest gap I had was 2-1/2”. No wonder it’s rubbing like mad.

The guy I spoke to previously said the alignment looked great according to the sheets he viewed. I’m the zero knowledge person on this issue so I’m unsure what to do and where to go. Just know I’m not paying place after place for alignment if they say they ‘think’ they can fix the problem.

Thats terrible. Dud i had a negative 24 offset with no joke i think my nittos were 12 wides even though they said 11.5. I got a cab mount chop and didnt rub at all with a factory spec alignment and my spc arms. Now i dont even come close to rubbing even with offroad articulation. I love my setup and i think its going to be my permanent one!

I feel that. I say go where your comfortable and i know its a stressful situation. I would be super stressed. Im just saying ive had great, service at Hoover Toyota every time ive been there and i would tell them the story that you've been through and they would probably give you a big discount. They did with me a couple of times. But go where you feel comfortable.

I don’t feel comfortable anywhere yet :). I feel more comfortable with stock UCAs on though I do know that.

Get as much castor as possible without throwing camber out. But it wont be much over factory spec. While castor isnt really used to gain more clearance at the back of the wheel it does help with it. Extra castor is actually for better stability at speed.

It's not the control arms, it's the alignment tech! lol
