I have an 04 Tacoma with 235000 miles and never a problem. 2 days ago my taillights and turn signals went out. Flashers still work as do brake lights. Checked bulbs and fuses even crawled up under the spare and can't find anything

When u say Flashers = Hazards?
Brake circuit is separate from Tail circuit.
Do the interior dash illumination still work?

Yes interior lights work. I'm speaking of the turn signals not working front and back. Hazard lights work as in 4 way flashers. Brake lights work but no other rear lights

One at a time: If the 4 way Flashing works, they are the same filament to the turn signals. Which points to relay and/or fuse to the signals. There is one fuse for hazards and one for turn signals to the relay.
Brake lights is also a dual filament bulb, shared with Tail circuit.
I'm guessing a cut wire, since you still have interior dash illumination.

Yes before I changed the relay and I couldn't find anything wrong with either of them

If you could make a test table, test the removed signal relay.
If you've noticed, the relay flashes with a "trigger". Either from the Hazards switch or the turn switch. So trigger from turn switch, turn switch selects left OR right.
Hazards trigger, ON and also selects Left & Right.
Since it behaves correctly for the Hazards, Front & Rear and dash blink, it seems the selector switch for turns might be AFU.

P.S. Also, the bulbs are dual filaments, one for turn the other for park/tail...

Ok so that doesn't explain the tail lights. I tend to agree more with your earlier thought of a cut wire or I have a bad ground. On my lights on rear of vehicle that work are brake and hazard

Again, the blinking hazards are the same lights for the turn signal...

I'm having trouble following your point with this. Hopefully I'm not just dense. The fuses were good, the turn signal relay was good although replaced. None of the turn signals work front or back. All 4 hazard lights work as do the brake lights. Rear marker lights, license plate marker all out.

SO that leaves the turn signal stalk. It selects Right or Left. The Hazard switch tells the relay to flash the same filament in the bulbs that are the turn signals., The stalk selects Left or Right, the Hazard switch selects both Left & Right) to flash.

I get that but doesn't explain markers and map light. Possibly 2 different issues?

Marker/Parking is separate circuit from Turn/Haz circuit. Map light also is its own circuit.
Licence plate illumination is on same circuit as Parking/Marker.

Did you check the bulbs for the map lights?

Yes have checked all the bulbs that's what doesn't make sense. I can see the multifunction switch putting the turn signals out but not the other problems yet they all started at the same time
