Why are you so rough on the equipment ? Theres no way it just cracked from a finger push.

You come to a place where everyone is pretty familiar their trucks and expect ppl to believe you gave it a little tap and it cracked. This sounds like something a little kid would tell their parents. Out with the real story!

You either need a large force or a very small surface area to overcome the yield strength of the screen. If you say it wasnt a large force, then you really need to trim your nails man!

 

While I can maybe convince myself that it was a light tap and you had a defective HU that was destined to crack under light pressure... good luck convincing Toyota of that. If I had to place my bets, you're going to be held responsible for the damage. You're best alternative will be to contact junk yards for a factory HU or go aftermarket.

And for the record, I can't convince myself that it was a light tap.
