if you run it up front it'll just feel like you have a bad alignment. I had to hold the steering wheel straight on the 300 miles highway trip home lol. Sucked but it wasn't too bad. Depending on how different they are it could be a harder pull

    4 run, 2 don't
This is just theory, but you could've run that smaller tire in the rear still.

Not that I'd recommend it because your drive wheels are important, but if you had to you should be ok with your locker disengaged.

This way you have no issues with your diff since it'll be open and ok to having mismatched speeds.

Even without the locker on it would still put added strain on the diff, with both tires the same size they are both going the same speed when going straight. With one tire smaller (especially considerably smaller) that side is turning at a different rate of speed

Someone smarter than me explained it to me once on here but I forget the technical part that is compromises, just that it was no good. But yeah the difference between a 32 and 33 really isn't all that much and it would probably take some time/hard driving for it to really hurt anything, but a tire that's 2" or more smaller/larger is taking a pretty good risk imo

I especially wasn't worried about it off-road in 4wd because the terrain is so uneven anyway and the speed is so slow that I really didn't think it would matter, and it was ok

wish I had a locker rn to worry about disengaging :(:( we talking one wheel drive and 2 on a god angle.

Think Imma just say fuck it and go for the spare, a used 29 inch tire should come near to nothing

always good to have a full size spare no matter what, doesn't have to be an expensive one to match just the same size

with the ram I didn't even get my full size spare balanced from the tire shop either haha. Sometimes I don't realize how much of a cheap ass I am.

Guess it's a good thing to limit me from being OCD
