    Kind of makes sense though; it's the same with current automakers -

    You can't get a single cab Laramie when talking Ram trucks or an LTZ if we're talking Chevy.

    The regular cab Tacoma was just more stripped down when starting as a base model, even as a Prerunner

    I like all the features I've got but I do wish I had crank windows, not looking forward to when the power ones inevitably fail at some point, especially with all the dirt and dust that gets in there.

    According to your mud flaps that happen to be intact, you don't even wheel

    @Wulf words not mine :rofl:

    Pfft I've had to bend those things back into place so many times, I'm honestly surprised they haven't broken off yet. I like them though so they aren't coming off until they decide to self-eliminate

    Okay guys so I didnt realize someone linked an actual Toyota Webpage to a vin checker, and on there it says it's just standard (Not even SR5) which confuses me because they said on the other VIN Checkers it was either "Limited" or "Deluxe" so I'm a bit confused, and I called the dealer a few weeks back about some questions and they said the truck had never even been there and it wasnt from them, but I have all the papers with signatures and everything and the VIN Lines up from the Purchase papers.. this is all so sketchy ! Lol time to dig further LOL

    I actually thought I had a problem with my power windows recently and it turns out it was just the lock on the driver panel I just didn't realize that on the model I have you can't roll down the passenger window from the driver side either if it's locked so it kind of stupid when I realized kind of funny now

    Ok... I haven't done that.

    I realized what happened and felt a bit like this
    :anonymous:

    The wife and I were wheelin way back in the back country, and she was bummed her window broke, but then was really proud of herself when she told me to check that button.

    I think she called me a dumbass or something, when we figured it out.

    yep. been there, sorta. my dog accidentally pushed the power window button in the back seat and I about had a heart attack. I couldn't roll it back up because she was still on the button. She finally got off it, so rolled it back up and locked the windows.

    Fast forward a couple weeks and I was driving with my wife and she was like "crap the window" doesn't work. It took me longer than it should have to remember that I locked the windows.

    I just wish you could lock the windows so the switches don't work, but they still have power so I can still roll them up/down from the "master" switches on the driver door. Also wish it was just the back seats, not the front passenger seat, too.
