Schaefer trail in Moab coming up into Canyonlands National Park. Schaefer is doable in a Subaru if you have skills and balls, Big Drop offs. It connects with White rim trail ,100 miles of 4wd, multi day adventure with isolated back country camping spots. Permits required from USFS. A trip of a lifetime something you'll never forget.

Same boat here. In fact, I may have less than an inch to spare. I went to the extent of changing out the front license plate bracket to a more low-profile bracket in order to squeeze out a little more space.

How is this possible? I've checked mine at different RPMs and speeds. At 75mph I get 17.3mpg, at 70mph I get 18mpg, and at 62mph I can get 21.8mpg. These numbers are for a 100 mile trip with the tank full each time. I get 14.2mpg city and on average 18mpg highway.
Note: I did not buy my Tacoma for the mileage but I used to get close to this in my Jeep and GMC truck.

Edit: I didn't see that it was coasting. I guess I should have read more of the thread before posting.

Yesterday I did the accumulator delete mod.

Today I rebled the clutch because I screwed it up last night. Truck shifts as it should now. Should have come from the factory like this. I haven't driven it a lot yet, but I can already tell this will be one of my favorite mods I will ever do to my truck. :D

    1600 miles ish currently

A friend suggested that in-channel windows visors were a bad idea. Having never had these on any vehicle & not knowing any better, I took his advice & purchased a set of AVS adhesive style visors. I have to say, when I received them, I was instantly disappointed at the quality. They were scratched, with unfinished edges and just seemed low quality. Did any of that stop me from sticking this crap on my truck? Of course not.

Fast forward a few weeks. I didn’t like them when I opened the package, or when I put them on the truck and with the passage of time, I’ve grown to hate them. So today I ripped them off and replaced them with WeatherTech’s in-channel version. These are better quality, have no scratches and don’t look like sh*t. Live and learn I guess.

No offense to any stick on window visor members here :)

A couple going on (virtual work in progress)
Oil change, tire rotation, and FINALLY got around to installing my BD Squadrons I bought last month for a birthday present to myself.
Have to say the damn things are bright as hell (even during the daytime).
