Motorcycles BS Thread 2.0

I’ve been up to their shop before and the guys are pretty cool there. If they have the seat in stock they’ll let me try it. If not, I know the owners buddy has a street bob with the saddleman. He’ll usually tell me when they have the bike there so I can “borrow” it for a sec.

 

Covered and tucked away waiting for spring. But since everyone knows what they look like and this is a motorcycle thread...my Redneck Engineering custom.

 

Harley dealers have loaner seats. They will let you borrow them to ride with and see how you like it. I tried out at Tallboy for my street glide b4 I bought it. My dealer told me keep for a week or 2.

 

Well that’s pretty sweet. I’ll have to ride down there this weekend and test it out

 

It was 63 and partly sunny yesterday so I was able to ride for an hour after getting home from work. I hate losing the sleep, but am looking forward to DST this weekend since it means more daylight for riding.

 

So much this. Sucks getting home from work to only having maybe 30 mins of daylight to do things

Time to go home! Gonna give the fairing one more shot. Then gonna go scoot

turns out it was 54, and was a bit chilly. I still got in 30 miles and passed my safety inspection.

hey good idea putting the floor jack under the toolbox. I think I will try that with mine. Its not in the way, but its not stored..

 

You can also use a magnetic Maglight holder to hold the jack handle and keep it tucked away. That's how I have mine.

Just got back from riding around town for about an hour. The fairing works ok. It definitely pushes some off the wind off my chest, but I don't know how effective it really is. I may just have to get a full size fairing and drop like $400 on it
