    If it makes you feel any better the tub in our master bath decided to leak into my MIL’s apartment downstairs. Spent the afternoon removing sheet rock from the ceiling and prepping to cut into tub surround to find/repair leak!








    All after having to go get my teeth cleaned today and

    the Dentist!!!

    It’s not easy! The house has a full apartment downstairs so she’s fully self contained. Other than making sure she’s still breathing daily we don’t spend a lot of time together.
    She’s challenging to be around to say the least.

    So, our water heater is at the end of it's life. (honestly, I think it just needs a new element, but its over 10 years old and the MIL wants to replace it, so I'm not arguing.)

    The water boiler for the heat is older than that, I think.

    So these combi units can do the work of the water heater and the boiler?

    What size or spec will I need? fam of 4. 2-3 showers a day, 2 baths (kids), dishwasher and multiple loads of laundry daily.


    Do you have a suggestion for brand and size?
