Car has been fabulous, until I this stupid light issue. It is supposed to be a simple solution. Maybe the dealer is the lemon. I would recommend my car to anyone, dealer, not so much.

 

"Malfunction Indicator Light" and the symbol is the Engine. It is "just part of the evap emissions system", and while it's not serious unless it flashes, it's not something you want on the vehicle you are considering buying out at lease end. Their inability to fix it, and the "meh' treatment for buy/trade options I might desire became "off-putting", shall we say? And little things like charging me $900 for a Certified Inspection, so they can "offer me continued factory warranty" when I buy.
Toyota just became more and more where I was going, despite that I really didn't want to part with money or make payments...

 

Man there's some messed-up people out there. Everybody knows how bad to tourism here in Fredericksburg is especially on main Street well the locals don't like it that much and today was a perfect example traffic was bad this afternoon on main Street and some old rancher had the green light and there was a line of tourist in the crosswalk that wasn't supposed to be there he got pissed off at honk the horn and they just kept walking in the crosswalk so he really got mad and Floored it and hit six of them and two of them are little kids

 

As they say, two wrongs don't make a right.

Evenin gents! Did an oil change tonight and subbed in one quart of Lucas heavy oil stabilizer to try and slow down oil consumption. Been driving the 4 cylinder a little the past couple days and I put a more conservative tune in it and now it doesnt seem to be boiling over the coolant as frequently. May end up pulling the sc off so i can try to ride this out a little longer before it absolutely needs a rebuild.

On ME! I just got an "engine warning", but I didn't have to get a rebuild, or built in monitors!
