Long shot... Can someone in Phoenix check out this truck for me?

I live in Michigan and since I totaled my 95 I've been trying my butt off to find another Tacoma to buy. I dont want one from up here because of the rust issue we have. I just got back from driving to Iowa to find out the guy had lied about the transmission leaking and a rotting hole in the frame. So I didn't know if anyone from TW would be willing to look at a truck for me before I commit to going down there to actually buy it.

 

I am certain someone will do that for you. What part of AZ is the truck in?

Notice it says "Reconditioned/Certified" so that means a Salvage title, that would also explain the rim offset (as someone probably tagged a curb really hard with it). This is someone that buys from auctions as they have 3 cars for sale with Salvage titles. Just an FYI

 

Where does it say reconditioned/ certified? He's claiming it has a clean title. But I didn't put that together thank you.

 

Pro tip, you also need to run the VIN through service arizona if you are seriously considering a truck purchase. https://servicearizona.com/webapp/lienmvr/search?execution=e1s1 In Arizona a title can have a tax or child support lien and not actually be stamped on the title. If such a lien exists you won't be able to register the vehicle in your name without satisfying the lien.

If anyone happens across a 95-97 mostly stock 4x4 manual ext cab. Please do let me know, it's the preferred truck I'd like to get. I'm searching pretty regularly but in the time I've spent down there it seems like there's usually quite a few for sale not necessarily on any selling apps.

 

Might want to post up in the Arizona BS thread, it gets a lot of traffic from the AZ guys. Someone may know of something or be able to check one out for you.
