I was out at the dunes today and there was 3/4 ton crew cab banks powered diesel that I pulled out. Anything I should check on my AT 4 cylinder? It runs fine, but I use the truck for a daily commute.

I think you would know it if you broke something. Must have been fun to be the other guy getting your diesel pulled out by a 4 banger! Good job.

I came across a fullsize ford truck that was having a hard time getting up a steep iced over road. I was driving a Honda CRX at the time with snow tires that were studded. I passed the guy while he was spinning his tires and climbed the road he couldnt get half way up. Real mans truck....pffff.

I pulled two Tahoe's an H2 out of the mud one time, the Tahoe's got stuck pullin on the H2. The guy driving the H2 said ''oh it's deeper than it looks''. So i put it in 2 wheel and went thru his ruts. He was pissed.

I would say you're fine unless you notice something specific. Plus, you just towed it out and didn't really 'tow' anything for a length of time.

You probably didn't do any harm to your truck... but the other guy's ego on the other hand...
