SoCal Switch-Pros installs

What’s up guys! I am making this thread to offer installs on Switch-Pros. There has been some local demand for people who have purchased switch-pros and want help with putting them together. They wanted clean brackets with busbars to allow for adding accessors easily. Some friends were happy with what I did it was thrown out there I should offer this to the TW extended family.

During the week I have a full time job as a commercial electrician and this will be something I will be doing on the side. Why just Switch-Pros? Switch-Pros offer a compact clean solution to adding accessories in the easiest possible way, without the need of bulky relays and multiple switch locations

What I have been offering to members is I build a mount or you send me the mount along with switchpro and I loom the wires, label each switch for the accessory, and build it out like so (picture below)

I prefer to mount the Switch-Pros power module vertical to avoid water collecting into the connectors and allow for water intrusion and or corrosion (as recommended by Switch-Pros).

There are different loom styles that you can choose from.

Options for loom include
-black
-black/red
-black/blue
-labeled circuits
-labeled accessories
-ground bus bar
-circuit bus bar

Anyone looking for a 3rd gen interior panel for a possible install... good price.

 

@AY_ARONTRD Just finished up all the wiring and installing everything. here’s some pictures I took during the install process. All the wires were loomed, heatshrinked, labeled, and tucked away. Looks super clean and is very functional. (Even printed some labels for my future accessories. Makes future upgrades foolproof and easy. He explained a lot and his reasoning for certain things. Super knowledgeable guy. Thanks again!

I don't have a switchpro from @AY_ARONTRD , but I will vouch for his character! Aaron is a great dude, active TW member, and an electrical guru! I've seen his work first hand, beautiful and clean. 100% would trust and recommend him to anyone.

Mike... I still have the Blue Sea fuse panel sitting in my truck waiting to deliver to you. LMK when and where you want to make the hand off. Is there a SD brewery meet up this week?
