I'm hoping, in all seriousness, that I get this guy on board to fill in as a back up in finance.

That means maybe a short camping trip next month?

Oh and I got a refund for the OTC kit I never received from Amazon.

Looks like I'll buy it again but use my house address instead of the apartment.

Yeah I kick myself a lot for not listening to my dad and blowing my money on land and a house in Texas and instead spending ALL of my savings on a small house in California.

Damn, 2J timing belt procedure makes the 5VZ one look like rocket surgery. Should be easy, lot less parts too. Gotta do the header as well

Oh that’s an oldie. You see the silver cage in the center of the lightbar? That’s where they used to install the siren. The outlawed it in the late 90’s because first responders were getting hearing issues from having a 120 decibel siren going off above their heads.

Bought a 2003 IS300 this evening. Only obvious thing wrong is a P0430 code, pretty sure the cat is toast. But I don't care to fart around so I'm yanking the cats and sensors and replacing them all. No record of timing service so I'm just gonna do it. Other than that its extremely clean. The interior doesn't even have stains and all the floor mats and the trunk mat are there so the carpet underneath is even cleaner. Drove it 160mi home at 70mph with no vibes or anything.
