    Technically the truth

Glad to read all of that!
    1) Always good to have good news
    2) Bet that feels good
    3) Cheers!
    4) Fancy, she's definitely going to like that

I used to have a set. I don't actually remember why I took them off but they saved my tail light at least once on a trail. I watched a guy in a third gen bump a shrub and his shattered so I got a set. Then had to pull the tail lights off for something and didn't put them back in.

But our opinions matter not, you do you
    :fistbump:

That's awesome lol, I love it

    No, but three lefts do.

Whatcha gonna do with that SC?

Does anyone know of a WeatherTech dealer in SA?
Dealerships usually stock some stuff don't they?

Looking to pick something up sooner. I don't have time to wait for an order, I think I'll only be in town for a day before we head out to Utah again.

On that note, I don't think I'll be doing any wheeling on this trip :(

I haven't tested out the crawl box and I still need to build a cross member for it. I really don't want to break down on a trail 1500 miles from home.

I'm wondering if I do an FJ case on my PreRunner I would have to get a custom driveshaft made

    Yes

They can just shorten yours or you can swap your intermediate shaft off a 4x4 Tacoma.

Good to know now on the PreRunner it's the same frame as 4x4 I wonder if the transfer case mount will bolt up to the same location

You would be better off getting a Tacoma transfer case.

The input shaft on the FJ is different from the Tacoma. You'd need to split the FJ case and swap inputs, that means you'd need to buy two cases.

There is no transfer case mount. It's supported by the pilot shaft, bolts from the trans, and the transmission cross member.

So the transfer case and crawl box are supported by the transmission

The crawl box is designed to use a center support. It has threaded holes on it like the transmission does. I will build a support for it similar to these

Are you using a one piece driveshaft or you shortened the front shaft

    He does

I'm not up to speed on prerunners or the 2Low switch. But you would likely need the 4x4 ECU as well.

For your truck, the FJ case requires more mechanical work but you won't need to wire the ECU. The Tacoma case is mechanically simple but you'll have electrical work to do.

I had the front shaft stretched about 8" and we ended up cutting about 8" out of the intermediate shaft. The guy that did it said it would have significant less vibration and it was cheaper so I kept the two-piece after all.
