how are you guys going to keep up with the demand on these racks? I scrolled back and seen a lot of people wondering where their racks are at? Plan on hiring more people to keep up?

Usually, from a general reading of various sites, if you're light bar is mounted between 16" and 42" (which is national headlight height) then you don't have to cover them most places. Pretty much any on the roof would need a cover (again, most places, I'm no authority on all the state laws!). As far as non-residents, usually the law for the state you're registered in covers what your vehicle can do, i.e. if you're Arizona, which only gives one license plate, you "Shouldn't" get a ticket in Nevada or California for running only one plate. "Shouldn't" is subjective, because sometimes cops are just bored, mean, or having a bad day.

We have 3 FT guys and 1 PT guy now. Our issues are not on our end they have a lot to do with outside factors which we are constantly working on to remedy. We do have a 21 BUSINESS day lead time which equates to a month essentially. We work very hard to beat that timeline but do on occasion fall short.

I did my best to read through all the pages, but I might have missed it. What is the static and dynamic weight the 3rd gen double cab tacoma roof can handle? I want the alpha and the truss, but I'd prefer the alpha first but only if it can handle a RTT. I would eventually put the RTT on the truss, but I'd like the alpha to handle that from time to time until I can get both. If this isn't something you'd recommend then I'll go truss first.

You can put a RTT on top of the Alpha however its not the easiest process as the rack is so low profile. In terms of weight handling, yeah it can do that all day long but in terms of efficiency, I would not recommend it on a Tacoma. All of the other Alphas (4runner, LC, Lexus...) are designed to sit about an inch higher in order to accompany a tent as thats the only place it can go. We have the luxury of a bed therefore we recommend the truss.

Alright possible dumb question . I’ve been trying to figure something out on how to mount my rear tire of my mtb to my bravo rack. Any suggestions? I have a fork mount up front, I could always bungie it or maybe reusable zip ties ? I was trying to mount a Yakima rattler strap but couldn’t figure anything out. Want more ideas that I haven’t thought about.

You got a pic where it is installed, or model/linkage of the fork mount you used? I have been looking for a good way to carry my bike, and this might be my answer.

I'm also curious if someone has put j-hooks for kayaks on an Alpha.
