Is there a different style of switch available that requires an unlock mechanism? I don't want to accidentally tap the 2lo button.

Pushing the button without changing the 4wd dial won't hurt anything. It's pretty hard to hit these buttons accidentally. I don't know of any OEM style switches that have an interlock. You could always retrofit something like this in a button location if you wanted.

You can even hit the 2Lo button while 4Hi / 4Lo is engaged without worry. And, if you do screw it all up and get a 4wd Failure message, just hit the switch again and shutdown, pause, and restart the engine. I accidently done that a few times.

There is nothing to worry about.

Like said above, not really necessary for this harness. But they do exist:

As said, one reason ended up with the solution here is that the 4wd ECU is still making sure that it is safe to operate the actuators. It should not allow anything unsafe to occur.

You can hit the button on and off a 100 times driving down the road and nothing will happen.

Just have to make sure its turned off when you start the motor or shift transfer case, else get the ECU warning

Alright, quote is back and no surprises. I have changed from using the vinyl tubing for the length of wire that goes to the switch to cloth harness tape. I have also requested that the wire between the relay socket and 4WD ECU be wire wrapped as well, leaving the resistor out so it does not have any risk of overheating (it doesn't really get hot in normal use anyway).

I will be sending out paypal links to everyone on the GB List tonight. Use the links if you want to use Paypal. Your Paypal address must be CONFIRMED.

If you would like to pay using Venmo or Google Pay, there will be a Google Forms link so I can collect your email and shipping information. You will get info to pay sent to the email address you provide.

    How much later....?

This is a Group Buy and I'm not planning on getting very many extras made. If you want one, now is the time.

To some extent, but I've found that the thread getting bumped to the top of the list seems to add 2-3 people each time it happens.
