    You search the mod-list, but don't find anything of interest.
    Perhaps even just park close to a curb with the lugs loosened a bit and just turn the wheel, let the power steering take the brunt? I don't know what the possibility of breakage of steering components is... but I bet it'd be low.

    Jack it up, put it on a jack stand, take your bottle jack and put the base on the frame rail, head of jack on the tire( you can put a piece of wood between jack and tire), then crank Jack until tire pops off.

    Thanks for the responses (real and snarky).

    I let the truck drop a bit from a jacked position with loosened nuts. Took care of the driver's side.

    Wasn't working on the passenger side, even with the 2x4 trick.

    Left the lug nuts hand-tightend, drove a few miles to get back my sledgehammer, and the passenger side wheel was loose when I got home.

    I can post pictures, but you'd barely tell the difference between mine and the ones posted by @DaveInDenver

    I did the same and to the drum as well. Makes inspection of the brakes at tire rotation a lot easier.
