dont have a wheel, but do you have an idea of how it got stolen? I thought these things have a lock nut or something

 

I'm not sure. Just went to the car wash and as they pulled it out, I noticed the chain hanging down in the back.

 

That sucks! You can get a lock for it.

I just swapped mine for a full size spare, so I have the one from my 2020 Sport. Make an offer?

 

Hey Guys, sadly the time has come for me to part with my 2011 Tacoma Adventure Rig. I am moving to Europe, so I must sadly sell my Taco... (Hoping to get a Hilux once I'm settle in there!)

Single Owner - Regular maintenance schedule (just did the 120K service), great mechanical condition (not a single issue to date), some bumps and scratches on the body. There are only two 'modification' on the truck. The first is the removal of the interior plastic paneling behind the rear seats in order to make room for the electrical system and additional storage space (see photos). The second is the installation of a Pioneer Bluetooth Radio. Otherwise the truck is stock.

Sadly this is pretty common. Happened to me too. OEM lock kinda sucks because thieves have that too.

I used a masterlock, just make sure its weather proof or the winter road gunk will seize the lock.

 

Unfortunately, the Sport and Off Road have different size wheels. Thanks for the offer though!

They're both 17s and regardless, probably have the same crappy 16" donut spare.

Seems as good a reason as any to get a full size spare and a lock if you don't want a donut.
