They're an OK tire....Seem to wear quick on my 2500hd. Going with Cooper stt pro on my Tacoma next. (Cooper is more aggressive but my truck is lifted etc) Just my opinion.

Wear quick, generally have balancing issues. I love the Cooper STT Pro's. 3rd set and won't buy anything else.

I've had the BFG AT's on both a Taco and a Wrangler TJ. I didn't have complaints about the wear either time and they did better than than the Cooper's I had which cupped pretty bad.

I'm currently run them on 3 vehicles. The set on the Yukon have about 45,000 miles on them, expect another 10,000 or so. Only had a problem with 1 tire that wouldn't balance out on the 4Runner. Discount Tire replaced it free under warranty. I haven't had any of the problems some guys do apparently. They're tried and true, and have handled everything I've used them for. From deserts of Utah and Arizona, to the rocky trails of Colorado. And smooth and quiet on the highway/road.

And the tires went on your taco easy peasy? No lift, no rubbing, no vibration, no issues at all?

I had them on both a 1st and a 2nd gen (same tires, moved them over when I sold the 1st gen) and didn't have rubbing either time. The 1st gen had a 2" lift, but the 2nd gen didn't. (Well, it's lifted now, but wasn't for the for the first 6 months or so the tires were on). They did require more balancing (as in, required more weights) than most tires I've had, but no, no weird vibes or other issues.

I will say though, if you're expecting a nice smooth car-like ride, any tire that's on the more aggressive side is probably going to feel a little rough.

I had BFG KO2's on my Duramax, they wear out fast.

Those are great looking tires, are they loud or quiet?

Reason I love the Pro's is they are C Load in 255/75/17

How does the road noise of the BFG's compare to the Coopers?

    OME and worth every penny.
They must have changed the compound or they don't handle weight.
I had them on my 2000 and after 50K miles I just got rid of them because of age, not wear, they had 10x of 1000's more miles.

I run them on a stock trd pro and i have some balancing issues with the front left and the wear is less than stellar, but im making it pretty well up to 20,000 miles and i probably have about that left. I find they do pretty well in the snow but that is really the only other thing i wish was better, ive gotten stuck trying to go snow wheeling but there still a lot better than mud tires.
