yeah imagine you're 50 and overweight and you're trying to stuff your fat ass into the old pair of leather pants you wore to that eddie van halen concert back in 1987

ok, i've been shamed into readjusting. I was planning on readjusting in a few weeks anyway. Just wanted to get them on ASAP. Thanks for all the tips.

lol no attempt to “shame” you. We just all know you’d be a lot happier AND the possibility of just inexperience doing them. TW tends to attract people willing to undergo something they never have before, and likely wouldn’t without all the support available.

No shame, you got them on, that’s the hard part. You’ll get them just right.

Honestly, I get just as excited to see other people’s mods as I do mine. Just like to see stuff come together.

I like the pvc so far. They look great and feel fine. No one can really tell that they are pvc. I did not install the center console cover.
My primary reason for buying the pvc over the leather was price. I just started a 3 year lease on the Tacoma so I didn’t want to invest a ton of money. I also have 3 kids under 10 so I wanted something to protect the seats. I think if I was going to keep the taco longer than 3 years I would have bought the leather, mostly for the warranty.

Use the clazzio code found here for 10% off the pvc covers and it will save you $150 over the leather.($350 pvc vs $499 leather).

I've had these since Oct 2018. Love 'em! I custom ordered brown leather inserts with brown stitching.

Edit: found a progress shot that shows the brown compared to Quicksand.

Thanks! Was a little risky custom ordering brown sight unseen, but i think it turned out pretty complimentary.

I, too, had the same issue. I have an Inferno and wanted to order the ORANGE inserts, but wasn't sure how "flashy" that would be. In the end, I went the safer route and ordered all BLACK with ORANGE stitching. Pretty happy with this decision. :)

My Clazzio's are finally arriving on Sunday. What do you guys use to condition them with? I ordered the ones with the leather inserts.

i use a Lexol leather conditioner on clazzios and leather couch and leather jacket. generally about once a year works for me. been using it for decades. does not hurt to over spray and wipe on leather imitation. search Lexol on ebay for MANY Lexol leather products.

Going to place an order because dog hair is a bitch to get out of the stock fabric. That said, any advantage to leather or PVC for a dog constantly jumping around on the seat?

I went with PVC as well as they allowed me to buy the extended warranty as my fear was dogs and children.
