Gun culture is funny man. Truck culture is the same in a lot of ways.

Let's shoot sometime! I am actually planning to go to the Izaak Walton in Loudoun tomorrow around lunch time if you or anyone else is interested.

Should be fine. Think it takes around two hours to get to the top. Not really sure. Time flies when you're Wheeling.

My department issued an M16A1 built in 1967 to me. Last qual day we did some tactical drills doing position work after the qual course. Speed drills hitting plates shooting through firing ports where you had to change positions etc. Neighboring agency issues 14" LWRC piston guns with Aimpoints. Me and another old guy were cleaning the course with iron sights twice as fast as these twenty somethings with latest and greatest uber AR's. I got a kick out of it.

Take your time & be smart . There are only a few sections that might make you pucker a lil' bit, but those are also the most fun.

This is similar to the approach I took with my welder. Learned the fundamentals on a cheap shitty welder and then picked up a nicer welder. Really made me appreciate it more, and I think was fundamental in my progress.

Oh man, I meant to message you and things got crazy..... I did! My wife and I split it as our celebratory baby beer! What a seriously fundamentally solid west coast style IPA. My favorite kind. An oasis of malt character in a shitstorm world of juice bombs and adjucts. Seriously, thanks for helping me knock off a bucket list beer!

    Agreed.

I’m stuck on old habits and training.. Sometimes they are hard to break.
