So I'm currently in Las Vegas for the Mint 400 races (as a spectator) and after taking the Tacoma out for some light wheeling in the desert I'm noticing the steering wheel is sitting about 5° to the right although the truck does still tracks straight. Don't remember hitting anything hard just did some speed runs on some pretty descent dirt roads and some slow 4x4 crawling in the hills. Any ideas what would cause this?

Simple: You need an alignment. pretty common after any moderate offroading---the ground out here in Vegas is pretty firm and will beat on your truck.

If it's not aligned then it needs an alignment lol pretty simple. Try to find a shop that doesn't mind going with numbers you ask for like caster instead of just blindly following what the machine tells them

Careful, I've heard that kind of light off-roading followed by a light tap on your head unit could crack it.

That 'light' off roading probably knocked something out of alignment or bent something.

I think he actually said he 'tapped' it.
If he had been honest with the forum, he'd have said he was tapping it like a truck stop hooker...
    But, no..

Same old story, no one realizes the consequences until after they've tapped it.

That one time where you got some “light“ air and power slid it over some “light” rocks on landing probably did it lol. Easy fix. Have fun brotha
