2x6 is a better fit. I use it regularly.

Home Depot, Lowe’s, Rite Aid, Walgreens, Walmart, Target, Amazon, Michaels, Ace Hardware and pretty much anywhere else random crap is sold! C’mon bro, it’s a little piece of Velcro!

I had this setup in my 4Runner and it fits perfectly in the taco as well. Much easier to access quickly. $35 gum creek holster mount that fits a bunch of different style holsters right under the steering column. I use that canvas one because sometimes i carry a compact or full size instead of my 43x so it holds them all

No issues, it sits right between the legs. It’s only as wide as the holster you put on it

I think there may be an air bag behind that panel in case you would want to consider that.

Yeah I saw it earlier when I was doing a little armoralling to the inside. Kinda a buzz kill, but they have an alternate mount that goes on the side as well so might go that route. I just hate drilling into the trucks

I’m sure this is in here somewhere but I wanted to add it because it was not easy to find an answer.

Im assuming this applies to 2019 and older:

In order to stream audio (such as Spotify) over usb from an iPhone you have to have at least 1 song downloaded and stored on the phone. You can pick any random song, I just found one on iTunes/Apple Music and bought it. After that plug in usb and everything works fine. This explains why when I was searching some folks said it worked fine for them and other people said you can’t.

Bothered me for the first few days...Bluetooth really hurts the sound quality due to the compression/lack of bandwidth.

I don't guess there is one of these that has a clock on it...? One that is flush...don't want it sticking out.

You can replace the outlet with a flush mount usb plug with a display.

    Came across this one.

I have the @N2DesignsInc remote start in a 2020. Tapping the door handle to lock the truck counts as one of the 3 times to press the lock button to start the truck. Small but, I was curious if the lock command had to come from the key or not.

2x8s are an even better fit. You'll have to rasp off the lower corners but they will fit snug.

I recently took a 1,670 mile trip in my 2020 Tacoma TRD Off Road with stock tires. I traveled all highway and speeds between 75-80 MPH and the Transmission cycled continually between 6th and 5th while I used the Cruise Control as much as possible and left the transmission in Drive. My first three tanks of fuel, I got 15-17 MPG. For the reminder of the trip I continued using the Cruise Control but locked out 6th (Overdrive), my mileage went to 19-20 MPG and no cycling of the transmission unless I was climbing or passing, etc. Anybody else experience this or any changes that I should do differently? JH

This common for 3rd Gens. Did it hesitate when you tried to gun/floor the gas pedal? Through '18s, it would pause first while it hunted for a gear, then took off.

The passenger seat can move and recline ridiculously far forward and backwards. Almost makes it feel like a full size truck when sitting in the back seat lol
