    Very nice looking TBM

While I was at MCAS El Toro they had a few operational Skyraiders and yes they're large aircraft

Yup, I'm on the annual list. For me it's a "condition of employment" so I don't pay for it. And when I retire I'm going to have it removed from my license so I don't have to mess with it.

    Paging @Tacoma Mike

Why only 2014 F'n'J for the fuel pump recall?

Are they different from previous years?

    Jus wondering. :notsure:

Their list is dependent on parts ,venders, assembly, etc.
We don’t know the details of what, how, why.

They are real good at tracking issues like this..

    MORON REPORT.

Stuff like this makes me so sad.
Old couple with an old truck.
Been to two other “places” for an issue of a noise on sharp left turns.
    Now the info is sketchy.
They ended up putting a tie rod end.
    Lower control arm
    Top strut mount.
So I went around the lot and heard it and knew right away what the hell it was.
So picked the truck up and yeup..
The left tire was hitting the frame on sharp turns.
Now these two other places couldn’t get down and analyze why.
At some point someone replaced the lower steering shaft.
And since they did it wrong they got the steering rack out of calibration.
So the internal steering stops were not in proper orientation.
So the other two places replaced parts they didn’t need.
It was obvious if you knew what to look for. The left tie rod end had about 1/2 inch
Of threads sticking out. The right had over an inch and a half.
No way to stop the movement.. the right one almost didn’t have enough threads to hold it in.
So had to remove the lower coupler and center the rack and tie rods. Reassembled the coupler and reset the toe.
    Felt so bad for them..
So gave them a detailed explanation and to go back to the place that did the coupler and see what they say.
Oh and yea one of the tie rod lock nuts weren’t tight either...

    I’ll tell ya..
My job just gets harder and harder...

Im Pretty proud of my DIL. the county gave 4 $2000 grants to classes that applied for it with why they deserve it. Thats over the entire school system. 2 Elementary,2 middle, and the High School. my DIL won a grant for her 4th grade class. the group came to class and the kids helped develop a plan for how to improve the classroom with the money.it was a pretty big deal EF4BF61E-D663-48AE-945C-B1B6A7A8BCE2.jpg

good for you for taking care of them. you've probably made a customer for life.

yes. but with daylight savings this weekend will only be 47 hours and not 48 :pout:

goof for her. there's a local program here that awards $250 to a class on a weekly basis - and probably 20 schools competing for it.
