It's all because the hot cashiers are complaining because they get more work than the not so hot cashiers.

Just run. Wait in the parking lot for cops to show and let them scan there and see you bought the items. Tell them you ran since you care deeply for Walmart employee and you suspect you have Corona virus and don't want to infect the public. Sit down and watch the shits show unfold...:)

Walmart (at least used to) have a non-confrontation policy. If you made it out of the store, you were essentially home free. Little duct tape on the license plate and boom, Free TV!

There's a hottie at the local Kroger. I always try to come through her line if it's not too terrible long even tho I know deep in my heart that she wouldn't piss on me if I was on fire. :bananadead:

Being a former EOD guy- if we can go remote on anything, we do. Bombs, text message breakups, smart houses, online dating....you get the picture ;)

So, after looking at this pic- they are AZ NG... While I cringe at the mixmatch camo, I was guard for a bit so I understand. I am however jealous of the BEODs (trucks)...I kept those in my last unit for my OPs team. Those are great trucks for a 2 person team (they changed doctrine to 3 now back to 2 person teams).

I also have a cutie who works at the local publix. My kids see her all the time and seek her out when we go shopping...they are like little wingmen. She's probably 15 years younger than me, but cute. So, while there is nothing there, it's nice to see a pretty face when I'm buying beer or food for the minions.

The issue isn’t boomer vs millennial preference or is it faster vs slower, the issue is that it’s a slap in the face of the employees and customers. Regardless of what store you’re in.

As a customer, it’s nice to have options, so I’ll give it that. However what isn’t nice is being forced to work for the company as your own cashier and bagger without something like a “self-checkout discount”. Oh you bagged your own stuff? Here’s 5% off your entire order. Boom. Instantly done at all registers by the machine.

But to replace workers with the machines and then force customers to do the work that they used to pay cashiers and baggers for is just a slap in the face. In most stores now the number of self checkout greatly outnumbers the amount of actual cashiers at registers.

These companies cut jobs in order to save on the associated costs of human labor. I try to use actual staffed registers as much as possible but we all know deep down that it’s pretty much inevitable.

Self bagging's discount is not having to wait in-line and having your items go through someone else's dirty hands. If a machine can do your job and better than so be it. Find another job. I'd say half the people in the service industry hate doing it and it spills into their interactions so I'd rather deal with a robot.

Good thing those stocking the shelves have clean hands. And unloading the trucks, loading the trucks at the distributor, any handling at the manufacturer. But hey lets's worry about the cashier.
