I work at a Toyota dealership and purchased a 2019 Tacoma TRD off-road and was wanted to get larger tires installed but our service department says there is an issue wit the lane departure alert when going bigger. Can anyone else verify any of that or any other issues with it??

I love it, works for a Toyota dealership, comes here to ask questions. Just more proof dealerships are fucking terrible.

There is a TSS recalibration procedure. It is posted around here somewhere. Small changes should not affect it since putting a full load in your bed or cab would have a similar effect. Large changes like a 3in lift and 285 would need a recalibration in my mind.

I was thinking a few sizes but I’m leasing it at the moment to get out of some negative equity from my trade so I don’t want to need to lift it or Do a body mount chop but I agree I want to go bigger

Turn off lane departure, problem solved. It's an unbelievably annoying "feature".

I was at Longo Toyota earlier this week and they had new Tacomas with 265/70/17 BFG All Terrains and 4Runner pro wheels for sale.
