Yo, what kind of bedrock? I’ve got a hard bed cover and I’m looking to add a tent.

I’ve got two. One fits over a softopper/bestop the other is a low profile. I’m not sure if they’d fit with a hard cover, as they both bolt into the bed rails

Mine is a custom built bed rack. It bolts to inside track and sits on the top of the bedsides. I’ll get a couple pictures for you.

Thanks bud! It’s come a long way. I moved over this way about 6 months ago. Originally from Nelson Co. You’ve got a sharp looking truck as well! Long time reader but first TW posts.

Good deal! I enjoy the western part of the county quite a bit. And I’ll be honest, I cannot remember exactly where that photo was taken.. it was off of some very small OHV trail off the parkway. I’ve got a guy trying to pinpoint the road number. I’ll get back to you!

Hey fellas! So is there anyone on here that has done the ECGS needle bearing swap themselves or know of a good shop around Lynchburg that has done it?? I used to do my own work but was in a motorcycle accident that left me not able to do much of what I used to do. I have the parts and the special tools along with a replacement seal to do it. I don’t know if I trust a shop to do it right. Any help would be appreciated.

I’m right there with you on shop trust.. I do all of my own work for that reason. I would love to help you out but I haven’t done that swap yet! Good luck finding a reputable mechanic! I’ll ask around, too.

I have done it twice. On my second gen and just recently my third gen. It’s not to hard. Thinking about it makes it harder than actually doing it. I knocked it out in about 1 hour about a month ago. I’d be more than happy to lend a hand.

I appreciate that! I honestly don’t know how much of a hand I’d be but I’m willing to pay for your time! I can’t really get on the ground to good because I have busted up hips. I think I have most all the tools needed except maybe the socket for the wheel hub.

One or two things modded... Check out the build thread

I've done right around 37 of them so far... honestly not an exaggeration. Not really a bragging point either... seems I always just get volunteered. Ha!

@Casper66 and I both know you like to brag.

How's life up your way? We have had so much rain here. I think I should have invested in a snorkel.
